Write to privacy@boreon.com for anything legal, contractual or about data protection. That address reaches a person, and it is the address to use for a formal notice sent by email.
What this site is
This is a marketing and documentation site. It describes Boreon and it publishes the documents that govern its use. Nothing on it is a contract, and browsing it creates none.
The product itself is a different application, on a different domain, behind a sign-in. What this site publishes about it is described in the terms of use.
Where this is served from
This website is served from a virtual private server operated by Infomaniak, a Swiss company, with transport security provisioned automatically. The site is fully self-hosted: there is no content delivery network and no external font or script host, so no third party sees a request from your browser.
Boreon Cloud, the hosted edition of the product, runs separately on dedicated Infomaniak infrastructure in Geneva, Switzerland, behind a web application firewall.
Two jurisdictions, said plainly
Boreon Industries LLC is the company you contract with. The hosted product runs in Geneva, under Swiss data protection law. Those are two different facts and both are true at once.
The Swiss hosting story is a real property of the service, and it is never a claim about where the company is registered. We would rather draw the distinction ourselves than have it drawn for us in a review.
Which law governs a contract with us, and which courts hear a dispute, is set out in the agreement you sign.
Content, marks and partners
The text, images, layout and code of this site belong to Boreon Industries LLC. Boreon and TabKit, together with the names of the applications in the suite, are our trademarks.
Tableau and Salesforce are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. Snowflake, Databricks, Infomaniak, Anthropic, OpenAI and Microsoft are trademarks of their respective owners, and we name them only to describe what the product connects to.
Boreon Industries LLC is a Salesforce Consulting Partner. That is the tier of the relationship, it is stated at that tier everywhere on this site, and no company named here endorses, sponsors, resells or has reviewed Boreon.
Accuracy, and links to other sites
We write this site from the product’s own source and we correct it when it drifts. Even so, software moves faster than copy, so where you need certainty for a decision, ask us and we will answer in writing.
Where we link to somebody else, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content. A link is not an endorsement.
Accessibility
Accessibility is a build gate here rather than an aspiration. This site does not ship unless its automated accessibility checks pass, and it is authored against the strictest contrast and motion targets we can hold, including full support for a reduced-motion preference.
Automated checks are not the same as your experience of the page. If something on this site blocks you, write to privacy@boreon.com and tell us what happened. We will fix it and say when it is fixed.
The rest of the documents
This notice sits alongside the terms of use, the software license summary, the end user license agreement, the acceptable use policy, the privacy notice, the cookie policy, the sub-processor list and the data processing summary. Each carries the date it last changed.
They are published in English, Japanese, German, French, Italian and Russian. English is the original, and where a translation differs in meaning, the English text governs.
