Every document, in one place
The terms, the license summary and the license agreement it summarises, the privacy and cookie notices, acceptable use, the sub-processor list, the data processing summary and the legal notice. Each one with the date it last changed.
Why the footer shows only some
The footer carries the documents a visitor is most often looking for, and this page carries all of them. That is a deliberate split rather than an accident of maintenance: a footer listing everything is a footer nobody reads, and it buries the few that matter to somebody in a hurry.
The ones the footer carries are Terms of Use, License Agreement, Privacy, Cookies, Accessibility, AI Safety and Legal Notice. Everything else is here, at a real URL, and can be linked to, bookmarked, sent to a lawyer or pasted into a procurement questionnaire.
These documents are published in English. The rest of the site speaks six languages, and each document says so on its own page rather than serving English under another language’s markup.
The whole legal set
| What it covers | Updated | |
|---|---|---|
| Terms of useIn the footer | What this website is, what it is not, and the rules that apply while you read it. | |
| Software license | A plain summary of how Boreon is licensed. The agreement you sign is the document that binds. | |
| End User License AgreementIn the footer | The agreement that governs use of the Boreon software. This is the binding text rather than a summary of it. | |
| Acceptable use | What Boreon is for, how to use it well, and the small number of things it may not be used for. | |
| AI Safety and Content StandardsIn the footer | What the AI inside Boreon will and will not do, and the three independent layers that enforce it. Shipped behaviour, not an aspiration. | |
| PrivacyIn the footer | What we do with personal data, on this website and inside the product. In plain words, and with the gaps marked. | |
| Cookie policyIn the footer | One cookie. It remembers which language you read in, and that is the whole of it. | |
| Accessibility statementIn the footer | What we built into this website so it works with a keyboard, a screen reader and reduced motion, where it still falls short, and how to reach a person when it does. | |
| Sub-processors | Who else can touch data in the hosted edition, who cannot, and which relationships are yours rather than ours. | |
| Data processing addendum | A summary of how we process data on your behalf in the hosted edition. The signed addendum is the document that binds. | |
| Legal noticeIn the footer | Who publishes this website, where it is served from, and how to reach the company behind it. |
Ask us about any of it
Questions about these documents reach a person, and a due-diligence questionnaire gets an honest answer rather than a page that anticipates it.
