We do the job ourselves
We are certified Tableau architects and consultants. We built the tool for a job we already do. Every tool in the suite started as a task somebody did by hand, on a client site.
Boreon Industries LLC builds governance software for Tableau.
Boreon’s TabTotal is a suite of governed tools behind one sign-in. A semantic layer reads the warehouse your metrics are already defined in. An assistant advises, and never holds the pen. It exists because the people who built it were doing this work by hand, on client sites. Every new project started with a spreadsheet rebuilt from nothing.
The company is small; the product is large. That only works if the software is honest about what it does. Every capability claim on this website is traceable to the code behind it.
This site is about the product. The company that builds it is Boreon Industries LLC, and boreon.com is where the company itself lives: the consulting practice these tools came out of, and the place to reach us about anything other than the software.

The hosted edition runs on dedicated servers behind a web application firewall. The Enterprise License is the same software, shipped as one container. It stands in any major cloud you already run, or inside your own network. Where it runs is your decision rather than ours.
That is the tier Boreon holds. It is a consulting relationship. No Salesforce company endorses, resells or has reviewed this product.
| What it means in the product | Where you can check it | |
|---|---|---|
| AI advises, a person applies | The assistant reads, explains and proposes. Anything it suggests arrives as a card. That card goes through the same approval gate a person would use. Publishing always makes a new copy, and your own work is left untouched. | The assistant, in the TabTotal gateway |
| Every claim is traceable to code | Each guarantee on this website is recorded against the file the behaviour lives in, and nothing reaches a page without one. | Every claim on this website |
| We record the approval | A governed change is staged as a plan. It is applied only after somebody approves it. The approval is what lands in a hash-chained ledger. Your auditor can re-verify that ledger with their own tools. | The change ledger, in the admin console |
| We only read your warehouse | The connectors have read methods only. A read-only credential is all the product ever needs. It sees what your own role sees, and no more. | The warehouse connectors, in the semantic layer |
| Secrets stay on the server | Your Tableau token and every warehouse credential stay on the server. They live there for one session, and never reach the browser. Anything we deliberately keep is encrypted at rest, and listed by name only. | The credential vault, in the admin console |
